The track at the Station area has now been fully restored.  The original track was lifted and then new ballast and sleepers installed before re-laying the original track.  All went well and we now have a fully fixed and gauged track.  One last job is to lift and replace sleepers and ballast under the points…

Saturday sees the work begin in earnest and new sleepers being laid and track gauge and alignment made good. Just a kilometre and around 1500 sleepers to go
