Railtrack students and their tutor Neil from Northumberland College here in Ashington are now working with us.
We have created a joint venture which is mutually beneficial as not only does it facilitate further practical experience for the students but also helps us in the re-laying of the track. It was a pleasure working with you all and we look forward to seeing you next time.
It makes us very proud to be able to work with other organisations within the local community .😁

Museum Halt is now completed

The track at the Museum Halt has now been fully restored.  The original track was lifted and then new ballast and sleepers installed before re-laying the original track.  All went well and we now have a fully fixed and gauged track.  One last job is to lift and replace sleepers and ballast under the points but this is being left for the Ashington College Track Laying course.
