If we are to recommence the service to the community, we need to raise the funds to repair our track.
We need to lift the existing track and replace a large amount of sleepers which are now rotten. In addition to this, we need to re-lay the track and use appropriate fixings in order to get a safety certificate to run.
To achieve this, we need to raise around £500k which is a substantial sum. We intend to apply for grants etc but anything we can raise ourselves will only enhance our chances of obtaining a grant.
Anything that you can donate will be welcome, no matter how large or small it all goes towards our goal. We are also open to sponsorship deals.
