Progress this week

Work was done today to move a lengh of disused track and relocate it alongside the platform allowing 3 former trucks to be located at the entrance to the railway. We are extremely grateful to James Owen and his staff at Ellington Estates Farm who sent over the telehandler along with a driver to help us do the lifting, a task that was essential to the success of the day.

The trucks will shortly be prepared for planting by the Woodhorn Museum Volunteer Gardners.

See below for a gallery of the pictures taken during the move.
