The track at the Station area has now been fully restored.  The original track was lifted and then new ballast and sleepers installed before re-laying the original track.  All went well and we now have a fully fixed and gauged track.  One last job is to lift and replace sleepers and ballast under the points but this is being left for the Ashington College Track Laying course.
